Inverness Recreation Club



			Summer is just around the corner so it's time to shake off the snow and have some fun. What better way to have an awesome summer than to join your local Inverness Recreation Club! At Inverness Recreation you will find many new and fun things this season. The board has been working hard to find ways to make this the best year ever for everyone. We have done a few more upgrades to the facility over the fall and winter months such as new electrical wiring. We have a spectacular sports court ready to play volleyball or basketball on. There is a great field area for a fun game of soccer and a playground area for kids to be kids. We also have three tennis courts with lessons offered throughout the summer months by a tennis pro. Then there is the pavilion that can be rented out for parties. All this and an awesome pool too! You will find one of the best swim teams in the area at Inverness. Not to brag, but we did break three county records last year! Go Nessies!! We are bringing back Amy Spady as our head coach again this year and her terrific staff. If you are not sure if you are up to the swim team level just come out and let Amy see you swim.

	We will be offering swim lessons again this year in groups and on an individual basis. This is an excellent way to get those little ones in the water and ready for swim team. There is also going to be a tennis camp offered again this year with our resident tennis pro. This year one of the areas we are beefing up is the social events calendar. We will have scheduled activities going all summer for the kids and the adults! There is a new board up at the pool that will have the upcoming events posted so that all will know what is going on. We are planning things like movie night, raft night our annual Fourth of July party, a school's out party and things like that. For the adults we are looking at having a regular night set aside for a get together with snacks and beverages. These are just a few of the ideas the board are looking at right now. As always we welcome any ideas from our Inverness family. All in all our goal this year is to make Inverness Recreation Club the place to be this summer.
